My bamboo road in Bali

Bali, Indonesia, 2012

my Bamboo Route goes to Bali

November 2012, I started a new stage on my bamboo route in Bali, which is worldwide known for the cliche "sea, surf & sun "

and for being the haven of nature addicts and spiritual practices. But this little Indonesian island appeared to me as an amazing

laboratory for my research. There, under the guidance of visionary John Hardy, founder of PT Bamboo Pure, the milenary tradition

of bamboo uses has become advanced technologies.

After meeting John, having visited his masterpieces Green School and Green Village, and slept at Bamboo Indah, I had no doubt.

I should return to experiment with the extraordinary bamboos that inhabit Bali.

Half of the eight experimented bamboos rejected the manage and they stopped their grown.

It seemed they wanted to tell me “do not gamble with nature”.

But four of them are still dancing with clouds.

Now I must wait three long years for them to be ripe.
